Michelle Thai, O.D

Michelle Thai, O.D., is a clinically trained optometrist specializing in ocular disease, retina and glaucoma management. She earned her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science in vision science from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, where she completed clinical rotations in cornea and contact lenses, retina, glaucoma, pediatrics, low vision and dry eye management. She then pursued an ocular disease residency with an emphasis on glaucoma and retina management at the Wilmington VA Medical Center.

Dr. Thai was recognized as a student fellow at the American Academy of Optometry and received the Low Vision Award of Excellence in 2024. She holds certifications in MiSight 1 day, MoonLens and Paragon lenses. Dr. Thai’s patient-focused care is rooted in evidence-based practice and a passion for improving quality of life through personalized vision services.
